BFA Announces Summer 2011 Program

BARRIO FOOTBALL ACADEMY, a football school dedicated to teaching kids the wonderful game in accessible villages in Metro Manila, will hold its first summer village football module entitled SUMMER FOOTBALL CLINIC: DEVELOPMENT OF FOOTBALL TECHNIQUE & SKILLS. This program will take place at the Corinthian Gardens football field from April 28 to May 19, 2011, every Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.  Depending on the child’s age group, the clinic time will be from 4 pm to 5:30 pm (for 6 to 10 years old) and 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm (for 11 to 13 years old).

A team of specialists in the football and fitness industry will facilitate this summer football program.  Made up of former Philippine National Team members, International Licensed Football Coaches, and a Fitness and Nutrition consultant,our group has the expertise in developing modules and creating the right environment for learning.

Our objectives for the program are:

1.  For children aged 6-13 to have fun through football while learning and developing the basic skills and techniques of the game as well as to improve their individual speed, coordination and fitness; and

2.  To promote fair play and develop discipline, sportsmanship and teamwork amongst these children throughout the program.

This program is also open to NON-Residents of CGVA.
